The YDM505 is equipped with a cardioid capsule that has powerful mid-high tones and a slightly wider directivity that makes it easy to adjust the microphone position.

Taking cues from our musical instrument craftspeople, the YDM Series microphones follow a refined design that incorporates the flowing curves of a wind instrument. The top and bottom of the grip are accented with silver rings, giving it a distinctive look.
