2-way bass reflex shelf speaker
The Aurora 300 is a compact shelf speaker with uncompromising sound qualities. The identical 170 mm woofer, which is also found in the Aurora 700, is used in the somewhat smaller, equally sturdy housing and it guarantees a powerful performance in the bass range and a distinctive mid-range frequency with its lightweight, long fiber kraft paper cone and longthrow surround.
The newly developed Fluktus tweeter with its 28 mm silk-compound dome, ferrofluid cooling, powerful ferrite double magnet system and new acoustic flange geometry is also on board to ensure a flawless upper frequency range.
The high-quality silk matte lacquer coating at the front and top of the speaker, which is available in an “ebony black” or “ivory white” finish, looks exquisite despite the compact dimensions and, combined with the modern wood decor, creates a chic visual accent in the modern living environment.

Bass power in a tried and tested manner
Tried and tested HECO kraft paper cones, which have been specially optimized for distortion-free playback and provided with longthrow surrounds and resilient voice coils, are used as a basis for the woofers in the entire series. These cones are utilized in a double configuration in the floorstanding speakers and a generously dimensioned 30 cm cone is used for the subwoofer. The woofers and midrange speakers, which are accommodated in sturdy and coated steel baskets, are provided with decorative rings that are secured in place with 8 and 6 screws respectively.

In addition, the housing has been constructed in a very sturdy manner and is braced at multiple locations. The floorstanding speakers, which are accommodated on solid crossbeams, can be adjusted to suit requirements via the height-adjustable metal cone spikes.
